Doggie Daycare

Two Dogs and a Cat boasts a 6,000 sq. ft. outdoor dog play area, and 3,000 sq. ft. indoors, one of the largest play areas in Overland Park, KS.  Our dog visitors enjoy a safe, healthy and fun atmosphere where they can participate in play groups, enjoy human interaction, and daily planned events.

At Two Dogs and a Cat, we know every dog is different, and our day-caretakers always take this into consideration during your dogs stay with us. We have different activities that are appropriate for every dog type, breed, and personality. Additionally, we offer comfortable rest areas for dogs that like to socialize or nap in a less active environment.

Dropping off your dog for daycare or boarding can be stressful on both your furry friend and pet parents. Our goal is to make your dog feel “at home” in our facility, and treat them as if they were our own.

Whether you’re looking for a place for your dog to stay while you are at work, planning a day trip with the family, or interested in socializing your dog on a regular basis, you can be confident that your dog’s visits to Two Dogs and a Cat will be happy, healthy, and comfortable.

🐾 Our Behavior & Safety Policy

At Two Dogs and a Cat Pet Club, the safety and well-being of our staff, pets, and clients is our top priority. While we understand that some pets may feel stressed or anxious in new environments, we have clear policies in place to keep everyone safe.

  1. Mild Behaviors (Nipping, Anxiety, Handling Sensitivity)
  • We will always inform you if your pet shows signs of stress (such as nipping, growling, or collar/handling sensitivity).
  • Our team will make special handling notes in your pet’s file to minimize triggers during future visits.
  • If these behaviors continue, we may recommend professional training before your pet returns for daycare or grooming.
  1. Repeated or Escalating Aggression
  • Pets who continue to nip, snap, or display aggressive behavior despite accommodations may not be a good fit for our group environment.
  • In these cases, we may pause services and require training or behavior modification before reassessing.
  1. Biting Incidents
  • If a pet bites a staff member or causes injury to a person, they will not be allowed to return to our facility.
  • This policy is in place to protect both our team and your pet from stressful or unsafe situations.
  1. Dog-to-Dog Aggression
  • If a pet initiates a fight that results in injury to another dog, they will no longer be eligible for daycare services.
  • Boarding or grooming may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the pet’s needs and behavior.
  1. Our Commitment to Communication
  • We will document all behavioral incidents in your pet’s file.
  • You will be informed immediately if an incident occurs.
  • We believe in honest, transparent communication to ensure your pet receives the care they need in the safest way possible.
  1. Our Goal

We want every pet’s experience here to be safe, positive, and enjoyable. Some pets thrive in our environment, while others may be more comfortable in a different setting or after additional training. If we ever recommend outside support, it’s because we truly want the best for your pet.
